100 Word Challenge - Week 19

It was a dark, terrifying and scary night. The streets were vacant, except for one Philadelphia parking authority officer named Rodrigo. He was the only one brave enough to give a ticket to Roger, the toughest guy in town who always parked in a handicapped spot. Roger parked in that same spot every day and Rodrigo gave him a three hundred and one dollar ticket every night.  Roger was fed up. So on that night he decided to stalk Rodrigo and put an end to all of these tickets.  After that gloomy night Rodrigo was never ever heard from again.

100 Word Challenge - Week 18

It was a dark and scary night at the lake and my insane mother decided the family should go on a boat ride and swim in the water. We were not very happy but to keep my mom from crying we all agreed to go. Finally we got out to the middle of the lake and all jumped off the boat into the freezing, murky water.  There was something curling up my leg as my mind raced and thought, “What was that I could feel?” Was it the Lochness monster? Could it be a turtle? But I was pulled under before I could finish my thoughts.

100 Word Challenge - Week 17

I was out cold, my mouth was numb and there was a light in my eyes. The light was so bright it was like being an astronaut working for N.A.S.A. floating right next to the sun. I could hear banging, like a contractor smashing the concrete with a sledgehammer. Coming from the light there were magical ponies flying through the sky and fairies sprinkling their fairy dust on to my tongue. Suddenly there was this weird mint flavor and I heard a strange voice. I woke up from a dream and there I was in a dentist chair with this bright light in my eyes.

"Hey Bob do you want to go to the new reptile garden?" asked Bobby. 

"Ya sure" said Bob, "can we invite Billy Bob Jr.?"

"Why not" replied Bobby.  “Let’s go ask him.”

Later that day all three were stuck in traffic. When they got to the reptile garden they saw a…

       Snake!

They ran and looked behind them and saw that the snake was shivering. As it shivered, they stopped and went to see what was going on. As they approached the snake it jumped up at them and bit Bobby! Bobby was dead.

“Shoot!” Said Bob, “he owed me 5 bucks! Oh well.”

100 Word Challenge - Week 9

Inspired by real events…

A week before Halloween on a Saturday afternoon I realized I still needed a costume. On my way to the store I saw a green cat.  I went in and saw nothing I liked so I walked out and got chased by the same green cat into the next store.  After an exhausting search I found a lame clown costume.  After I bought it, I was all bummed out.  My father looked me in the eyes.

“You want that ostrich costume instead, don’t you?”

“Yup that clown costume was the last thing I wanted.”

My broken heart was lifted from the swimming pool of despair. 

100 Word Challenge - Week 6

I woke up from my nap and then the room went black.  I adjusted my eyes, nothing happened.  I still couldn't see.  I tried to get up, still nothing.  Then I heard a loud noise and a peculiar smell filled my nostrils.  I started to scream but no sound came out.  There was that loud sound again.  My heart was racing and I started to panic.  Suddenly I was able to see again and move again and talk again, I felt great.  Then I realized my dad had been sitting on my head the whole time and the sounds must have been farts.  I was extremely livid!
